Speakeasy Dress Code
Cocktail attire, sophisticated and chic. Here's what that means at Tell Your Friends, and what stays home.
The Tell Your Friends dress code
The speakeasy dress code at Tell Your Friends is cocktail attire: sophisticated and chic, every night the lounge is open.
It's a 1920s room with velvet banquettes and a band on the stage, and guests dress for it. The dress code stays in effect in summer too. Warmer weather calls for lighter clothes, not athletic ones.

Speakeasy dress code for women and men
For women
Dress as you would for a nice dinner out: a cocktail dress, a skirt or tailored pants with a dressy top, or a jumpsuit, with heels, flats or dress sandals.
For men
A collared shirt or a knit with dress pants, a sport coat if you like one, and leather shoes or loafers.
A guide to the speakeasy dress code, not the rule itself. The rule is cocktail attire, sophisticated and chic.
What isn't allowed at Tell Your Friends
- Athletic wear and basketball shorts
- T-shirts and baseball hats
- Flip flops
- Large logos
- Overly distressed or revealing clothing
Guests who don't meet the speakeasy dress code may be asked to change or to come back another time.
